Just Finished the Manuscript for My First Children's Book!

It’s a surreal moment. After countless hours, pages of ideas, and edits upon edits, I’ve just finished writing the manuscript for my first children’s book! This story has been simmering in the back of my mind for quite some time, and finally, it’s all come together on paper. Writing for young readers has always fascinated me—finding ways to convey big ideas in a way that feels magical, relatable, and inspiring.

But the journey doesn’t stop here. Alongside the story, there’s an equally important piece of the puzzle that brings it to life: the illustrations. Today, I’m thrilled to share the second draft of the character drawings. These sketches are where the real magic happens, where our little heroes and sidekicks step out from the page. Seeing these characters go from ideas in my head to something I can hold, in some form, is both humbling and exhilarating.

I can’t wait to share more updates and glimpses into the process as we get closer to publishing. Each step—every drawing revision, every tiny tweak to the story—gets us one bit closer to bringing this little world to young readers everywhere.
